Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
Does this mean that nicknames, and other features might be added back to the game?so we could offer registered nicknames, teams, and other features which could be added over time.
nah, I live in Australia (our internet is far from good) while some players had bad ping many had good ping with about 12 on my connection, and it was on a laptop while I was playing, so a dedicated machine would help this issue. Not too sure about this. Personally, I think people can live without player-hosted servers, I mean most people don't have a nice enough internet connection. Guh, this is a tricky one.

There won't be any devs anymore once this hits open source.so there is nothing to stop me from pretending to be a dev and screwing about and vice versa? (those devs are pretty tricksy)

Yes, eventually.will there be Lan support?
Set it to whatever you want.P.s. PLEASE allow password protection for player hosted servers (Preferably passwords, not pins)....
It can easily be disabled.EDIT: Oh, and can you op not to be on the master list?

Then pretty much anyone can work on it.
What's that mean for maps, is it worth it for me to finish the ones I started?
In other words: can I host my own maps?
Once you have access to host a game with scripting capabilities, nearly everything can be customised.
