He didn't mention where he was working. He had said that he had been working a "good" job "for a while now", but details about his supposed employment were withheld.

Yar, unfortunately availability and meshing of hours between developer and private tester was very important for this early stage, so there's really no Euro/Asia/Aussie presence in the first private tester group. However, this will change for future private tester waves.
