Question: If i get 25 FPS on Legions, will my laptop be able to handle Tribes?

Your laptop doesn't run Tribes. I got decent 50+ fps in Legions and my Tribes was running max 10fps. Unplayable, which is why I ordered a new laptop.

Nope. My laptop can run Legions with 70fps, and I can almost achieve 30fps if I use lowest resolution, and lowest graphic settings. Sorry to say but you're PC won't be able to run T:A.

try these settings in "tribes alpha\TribesGame\Config\tribes.ini" to improve your fps
they are from top till ResX and set the file security permission to deny Write

What if I use minimal resolution?
As a last resort, my family's laptop has 90 FPS in Legions, and although my family prefers I use my own, I'm sure they wouldn't mind me using that occasionally...

Just try it out. Frankly, I have no idea what kind of fps you gonna get since I don't know the specs of the computer you got there. It's probably gonna be playable I guess.

I was actually looking for the GPU, find run and type dxdiag in it. Then onto display. Screenshot that then upload if you want.

I tried it, it does work, but it's so laggy that it's unplayable. Haven't tried it with the settings you posted though...
Oh lol.
I also loaded Tribes onto the computer that has 90 FPS on Legions, Haven't tried it yet though. Worst case scenario I can use that.

I imagine that a Intel integrated chipset is going to have some problems running *Tribes: Ass-End*.

Yeah even my family computer could do much better. Although the physics of Tribes are nowhere near as good as Legions, and the game needs a pro computer to run properly, I think a server where I can ping 0, and usually has at least 14 people in it, makes up for Tribe's flaws.
