The SG server is really weird. Singapore is closer than United States, but the ping is more there. (D
. Fix it please!

The correct term in this case is the Internet, not the World Wide Web.Ping doesn't only depend on the distance. Maybe SG isn't connected well to the www. E.g. I ping nearly the same to London ( 1.113 km) and to Switzerland (343 km)
Where do you live btw?Well, in my computer it's still the same from the HotSwaps #1-2, 4-6. It seems that HotSwap #3 and #7 have about 10 ping lower. XD
Data:
*Date: Dec 24, 2010 (12:00 NN)
*Location: Asia, Philippines, Metro Manila, Makati
*Connection Type: Wireless, distance from W.Router: approximately 7 meters.

[SG]The Cloud #1 = 232

Where do you live? Your ping is reasonably good for all the servers.Where do you live btw?
My ping for the hotswap servers range from 40-70, the cloud is 120, and the shazbot servers are 140.
I have pretty simple connection, Att, Longview, Texas.Where do you live? Your ping is reasonably good for all the servers.![]()
Well, I am in Korea and I ping between 200 and 300 on the SG server whereas I always ping under 200 on the US servers. IMO the SG server is wholly inadequate. Korea has the fastest internet in the world and I have a fibre optic connection. I should ping a lot better on an SG server.
Thanks so much. I am sure I speak for all of us who live in Asia when I say we really appreciate the time, trouble and other investments you have made in getting a server up and running at all.I'll see if we can change something with the server itself.
