C'mon, loads of people play in full screen! NightHawk never even said that he didn't play in fullscreen, so I fail to see your point here.

Disadvantages of fullscreen/large screen:
Teamspeak and pokes
Too much area to cover with your eyes quickly

It wouldnt overpower hofs if you make it a small enough radar. I think the idea was more of a local idea of where people are, not people who are halfway across the map

I think the idea would be a small local radar, and then a wide area map that shows the whole of the map terrain wise but only displays enemy units in a local range around you or your teammates.
Meaning a hof won't be able to see cappers inbound unless a member of their team happens to catch them within detection range.
discourages spamming front routes where enemy O can see you coming and thus map-alert their hof, while adding depth by opening up a scout sort of role.
