A update, but a potentially bad one for sniper lovers like me :/ I see that they are following the way of Tribes for only the light class to have to sniper rifle, and that sounds like bad news to me

Yeah, but potentially wrecked its use for home defense. I'll have to test it either way.

I just played a few games as a sniper. I didn't really notice a difference. It does like 10% less damage than the LRII I think (would love to know the actual numbers). The refire rate is a little slower, and this actually made me think about my thoughts more carefully, and in turn I ended up with a higher than average score (for me). The increase in minimum damage IS NOTICEABLE. Also, I played OR for sniper anyways, so...

I love the skybolt! And finally, grenades are useful. Great job overall!

Impulse and damage are equal on the skybolt and rocket for jumping.

Restart your launcher; you must have left it open and just clicked play without getting the updates.
