It should work fine. Try closing the game and the launcher, restart it, and make sure that you use the "Live" build. It should update automatically.

I can't play yet so can I ask you guys a few questions
1. Where any loadouts removed?
2. What weapons are there in the Outrider Raptor class?
3. Are all classes available with both concussion and frag grenades? Eg. Are there two Chaser classes? One with frags and another with concussions?

What is the reasoning behind 'moving away from specialist weapons'?
[...] Part of added customization means that we are moving away from "specialist" weapons. Making 2 sets of a weapon, one being weaker and the other stronger, was just a balance nightmare and often made 1 of the 2 useless or overpowered. Either it is considered a unique weapon on its own or it isn't. If it wasn't unique, just more powerful, it should be scrapped and/or redesigned. This makes adding new weapons much easier too, since each can have a specific role in use and we don't have to worry about the standard+specialist aspect.

So that means the specialist chaingun and laser weapons are gone. Cluster will be balanced as a separate individual weapon (not OP+useful), and RLS is also being redesigned. [...]

Not sure they really are, Skybolt is just a rocket launcher II.
IMO i think the game should have a base set of weapons that make sense not a cluster of weapons that are basically the same.

I think that Skybolt is faster than the sped up RLII. Any devs able to confirm/deny that?

Shut up.
The projectile is a glamed up rocket, you could shoot it out of a clowns ass for all i care a model will not make it anything but a rocket.
I appreciate the work of the devs but i'm not a sheep, just saying it's cool because it's new is stupid.
To be honest it looks like a weapon from a modded version of tribes 1. It's a cross between a sniper rifle and a rocket launcher, why do we need it?
Add weapons that make sense is all i'm trying to get across.

it does make sense... its specialized weapon... there are other weapons but this one is more ready.. patience is virture.

EDIT: to put it simply the skybolt is legions version of a Railgun.. only its energy based.

These changes are very very good for the game. The loadouts have been made much more balanced and the new hand grenades are perfect. I'm also glad that the specialist weapons have been removed (But perhaps a name change of the GLII is called for, i.e CGL for 'Cluster Grenade Launcher' to move the game completely away from specialist weapons.) I do have a few criticisms of the changes though, namely the lack of outriders grenade boost and the none-existent rooster class move to the outrider class.

The Nade change was a long time coming but at last it is here. The new boost grenades are much better as they allow short directional changes and take up less damage on the outrider. Much improved I say! What I fail to understand is that there is no way on the outrider now to use the grenade + boost combo, which I preferred due to the extra boost it gave and it worked well with the stinger class as I preferred it for chasing. Obviously the devs don't seem to see the point in it, and the current stinger with the frag grenade really isn't worth playing.

The grenade changes even further push away the potential to use contagious overdrive as it now costs less health to use the boost grenade - in the future I hope to see an overdrive core that specifically deals with contagious overdrive, and uses it on par with the boost grenade.

The skybolt is a most interesting weapon, and I like how it is being put on par with the rocket launcher, making the player chose between then. The choice of having extra speed to shoot enemies over the loss of splash damage, tough decision, but I'm glad that the player is never given the option of having both. Other than the art and sound effects that have not yet been updated for the weapon (Including reticles) The actual line that the game tells the player who killed who still has "[Insert play name here] ate a rocket from [Insert play name here]" is not updated. Was just reminding that fact, something witty needs to be thought up to fix that:) . Other than chasing though, I fail to see what its point is.

At first, I was a little worried about the changes that were made to the sniper rifle, and thought the chain/laser rifle combo would not be good enough - until I spotted the new Hornet loadout. I feel like this will be a class to play for a very long time [And keep me interested in the game.] At last, the sniper rifle can be finally properly used for chasing and I will most certainly be doing that. Although, noted with my earlier criticisms, the Rooster class seems to of been abandoned by the developers, whereas I think it would be certainly a class for me to get into along with the boost grenade. I fear the developers do not see the point in the class and wish to scrap it - whereas I think they should reconsider.

Just my summary of the changes so far, obviously this is just a warmup for the other weapons that will be coming (Plasma rifle!) and the custom loadouts (And Overdrive cores!). Good job so far guys, and I'm looking forward to move updates and playing around with the ones so far!
