i propose the devs make a new forum thread or category specifically for new map downloads, script downloads, mod downloads(like the unofficial mod thread) and so on. I'm just thinking its a good idea so its less complicated to find map downloads and such. But its the communities choice

There is a Modification section for server and client mods and then there is a Custom map section for new maps?

Why is this not suffice?

You mean Auto-download new mods? I don't understand your pov, we have lots of threads in the Modification section, not to mention the bran new "Custom Maps" section, pretty handy already.

As Jord said, there are already forums for new maps, mods and scripts. If you wanted to keep track of them you could take advantage of each forum's RSS feed. I'd suggest using something like Google Reader for managment, or you could just put the feeds in your bookmark bar I guess. The only issue with this is that the mod forum isn't specific to new mods, but also includes people asking for scripts and such. Still, could be handy to have.

I've added the Download prefix to the mods and custom maps forum. If the thread creator has a downloadable package in their first post then I'd recommend that they use this tag to help people find threads with downloads in them.

i agree dood as soon as i posted this the download tab was up but when we want a page to show new people this awesome game called Legions is like not a damn thing happens :/
