Ah, don't worry. I figured it out, finally! You have to copy the MG_Scoreboard.cs and MG_Load.cs into live/mods/autoexec and if they ask 'do you want to replace the files?', say yes.
By the way, epic mods! I like them.

Just extract the zip into your legions overdrive folder, and merge the two live folders when it gives you the option.

IMO it has got one defect. I cant see how many I have got health and energy/power

Yes, I have noticed this glitch as well. If you installed the scoreboard, the health & energy don't display properly. However, installing Arch's HUD as well fixes that problem. So it's not really a standalone package.

For example, it turns my standard clean HUD from this:

Where the bars have turned black and have actually been inverted...

No, must of the UI works, just not the "Options" button.

There's a score board included too, the option button has never worked on any iteration of the new 1.4 legions, test, public test or now even live.

Those bars are indeed available in the 'HUD options' in 1.4 now

Yeah, it replaces the slidey function of the new scoreboard so you can still just press escape and the scoreboard shows up along with the menu options.
