Earthquake in Japan

does anyone of you comes from japan or lives there?
if yes, are you affected, too?

i would like to get some "first hand" information about the earthquake.
(german newschannels show the same pics/movies everytime, BBC and CNN, too)

also, to you californias. i guess there will come a little wave to you soon (or right now)
