Ya. None of the reviews that are out so far deal with the multiplayer, since the reviewers didn't have anyone to play with. The bot AI is stunningly horrid, and the singleplayer 'campaign' is actually just the multiplayer maps strung together with cutscenes. Taken on merits of the singleplayer...

Don't kid yourself, Carl was the #1 thing used at the top levels of the game too. (or at least it was back when I was playing it) I love me some rockets. Brink is turning out pretty good fire, it is growing on me the more I play it. I'll hop on TS3 and play BC2 with you guys at some point soon...

BC2 is a great game. I'm EricM ingame, I'd love to play some tonight, although the rest of this week will be taken up by Brink.

I would love an option to turn off all taunts from being displayed in the chatbox. Too many idiots that are almost exclusively horrible players spam them constantly and make it hard to see important info or people actually talking in the chat box.

Substantially better netcode led to a general increase in aim throughout the community. It is easiest to see with the number of snipers these days.

While most tribes people are more familiar with ladders, leagues work out much better for competition, especially if there is a smaller community. Ladders are a decent supplement, but just don't promote as much activity.
