Here is whats really being tracked as far as deaths , most will make it into stats display 2.0 somehow.

deaths - being killed
teamDeaths - being tk'd
suicides - killing yourself with a weapon while not in combat
fearDeaths - respawning or killing yourself while in combat
splatterDeaths - cratering

Does anyone even know the criteria for this? Is it grabbing the flag and capping it in the last 30 seconds or something like that?

I presume it means an 'egrab'. Probably just another one of the numerous bugs.

Ive tried that, and I didnt get a last second grab. So probably is a bug.

It's not really a bug because it isn't being tracked at all. They need to add the code, which I'm assuming will be there in 2.0. Unfortunately it's taking a bit longer than expected.

Stats will still be wiped though, eventually.

It was stated in the original announcement almost two weeks ago that they would be wiped.

Indeed, testing was being carried out on new stuff that I was pushing out.
Seems, like it's working at the moment, though.

another idea......

adding something like "Mortal Enemy" which would tell you who has killed you the most and how many times they've killed you

yea but when you smurf, I don't know if it's you...this way we'll know for sure who's killed who the most even when they smurf

That'd be a nice feature, go after the bastard whose been killing us the most (ill be going after nil, killed me more than anyone :/)
