Who would like to see Quarry return?

IMO they should get rid of all of the maps except for Frostbyte, Zenith, and Nivosus. Gorge is ok for comp when there are even teams, but otherwise it's kinda boring (coughforgotten).

The llama on quarry wasn't really any worse than any other map. Base tower and spawns need to be reworked if it comes back.

I never liked Quarry. I personally think time should be spent on other maps.

Yeah, I say bring it back, If anything just for it's DM prospects. There was like 1 surefire way to llama (those oh so llama helping slopes), had a lot of odd to work bumps which I think made you need to be a bit better at skiing to navigate. Yes it'd need a re-work but yes should be brought back.

Mirage also, Mirage was first map I played on so..some sentimental value there..though editing needed there too..more stuff than just sand for instance.

Bladerun also should be brought back, wasn't the biggest fan of forgotten, seemed like the majority of it was just wasted space.

Here's the list of maps I'd like to see fully back:

Bladerun
Mirage
Nivosus
Moonshine
Zenith Cauldron
Core (maybe)
Forgotton

In other words, quarry was the worst map on there. Every single capping run required you to rocket jump up to the base, and by the time you got up there, overdrove, and got back down, your health was just about 25%. Lets take this opportunity to make the maps better and weed out things that just didn't work.

I voted yes, but I don't really care. If anything, for variety. I never got particularly good at Quarry, but eh..

Of course, given the choice between new stuff that I'd like more versus something that I kinda-sorta liked, I'd take the new stuff. So, in an ideal world, I'd say sure, bring it back, but since the devs don't have the ability to stop time (we'd know because Mabel would have taken over the world by now), we'll have to settle for the most practical solution.

Some maps were dropped with no plans of return, while most have plans for modification then release. With upcoming plans for changes, the need for refinement only increases. Creating and experimenting with a new map to fit with the changes is easier than modifying existing ones most of the time. That means that the old maps are likely to return, but after we have refined some of the plans we have for gameplay.
Also, different gamemods can have different maps of course.

I wouldn't mind moonshine or nivo strictly for DM/TDM. Scrap for CTF IMO.

I think with some alterations nivo could be made a very entertaining ctf map.

Personally I say bring them all back. If nothing else just leave them as is for variety so that when people get private servers they can choose if they would like to play them or not. I would play any of the maps that went away (including Queery) over another game of Nivo or Moonshine. I don't really mind that Queery isn't coming back but I would like to see Blade Run still. It was actually one of the best maps, just a little big.

Nivo is just too small. Same with Moonshine and Frost. It could work, but it'll never be as good as a bigger map like Zenith.
