VIP game mode?

How about a game mode where a person on each team is designated the "VIP'? You have to keep them alive as long as possible or get them to an extraction point.

So like an attacking and defending team? Would the VIP have any self-defence? Or would it be totally up to the defenders?

reminds me of an old game mod for tribes.. I cant remember what it was called but the idea was refered to as "assasination". This would go well with the idea of giving this single person ability to setup objectives for everyone and be able to use command hud to monitor base assets, this of course would require more tribes stuff which I feel is what we are pushing for.

A sent with a mortar? Probably a sent with a rocket launcher would be ideal.

Well. You might be surprised that this mod was in CS *chocolate cookies* tons of years before TF2 was even in the ball sacks of the developers of the game.
