Unofficial "Things we have already Discussed" Thread

In an attempt to stop remake threads, we should get a few things squared away:

The below are true and can be quoted upon.
If you contribute to this list, please provide a thread link.
Please contribute through PM.
Also note that there is no release dates for any of the below that will be implemented so do not rage, "WHY AREN'T THEY PUTTING IT IN NOW?"

Melee weapons have been shot down.Possibly trampled upon too.
New UI will be implemented for inventory screens.
Helpful hints will be added to loading screens
Shotguns are a no no.
Turrets,Inventory Stations, and Base assets will come out.
Old sniper rifle will not come back. I REPEAT. Old sniper rifle will not come back.
Specialist weapons will be replaced.(Mk II weapons)

No need to replace the 'Search' function.

While it's true that occasionally there will be repeat threads of past topics (laser rifle, achievements, etc), I don't really want to stifle conversation by making a 'this is what we've already spoken about and this is the conclusion'-style thread. As far as Seymour's concerned, everything's up to debate and nothing's set in stone. Also, I wouldn't expect this to reduce the related thread creations, those people didn't use the 'Search' button and I doubt they'd read through a long list of 'already suggested suggestions'.
