If you're looking to remove yourself from a team, go into 'My Account' at the top of the page. From here go to 'My Teams', then click the team name that you want to leave. A list of all the members for that team will come up and at the bottom is a button to click if you want to leave that team.

If it's an ingame team you'd like to remove yourself from, hit Escape to bring up the menu and you'll see the option to switch teams there.

If you created your own team, then you can't remove it.

Teams can't be deleted at all.

You can still join other teams if they send you the invites. You can also hide your team's tag so it doesn't show in game.

Just don't use it? Remove the members from the team and deactivate your tag (or use a different one).

Yes you can, however you cannot use more than one team tag at a time.
