So I used Romance's excellent tutorial and got Legions running beautifully on my Mac. However my trial of CrossOver is going to run out in a couple weeks and I wanted to know if Wine or Winebottler could run the program as well for free? (since CrossOver is based on Wine)
Note: I downloaded winebottler and it already shows the "Microsoft Direct X Runtime - Modern" as already being installed which according to Romance's tutorial is needed for the program to work. I suppose its recognizing the runtime that I installed as a part of Crossover but I don't know if this prefix will not work when the trial period is up.
Any input you all could give would be helpful.
