Req. -- Blank Hud

I heard there was a totally blank HUD on the forums before IA shut down.
Wondering if anyone still has it? / Or if I have to fill up all icons with blank pictures? /
Or if someone's nice enough to totally make it for me.

i had trouble with this myself for design project.. i found quick solution is before you join the game you are in observer mode but if you plan on doing player recordings your probably not going be able to get everything cleared.. some is scripted and not skins such as mission statements. but if you do all you need is a black .png and copy and paste and rename for all hud elements. There was a code to hide weapon, not sure if its still there.
 
Zhou had blank hud for recording purposes. Dunno if he still has it. You might want to ask it from #legions IRC channel or make transparent hud yourself.
 
Don't the HUD elements disappear in spectator mode?

But in theory, just make all the images in the .../hud and .../hud/reticles folders transparent (make sure to backup the images prior). That doesn't take into consideration your mods. Those being the ones with huds (FlagHUD, Tactor). Those will have to be deleted and returned after you're done. I tried deleting the elements in the HUD folder after setting the folder to Read Only but the launcher seems to put the files
back in again. It's probably just me. I still have to check in the IRC channel to see if anyone still has Zhou's BlankHUD
but I haven't had the time. I guess I'll just have to replace the elements with something transparent.

@skypredator: I was thinking of doing a capping video, so even the Health and Energy Bars and Weapon Icons will get
in the way.

I'd say that everyone uses the HuD when making Legions SKill/Capping videos. It shouldn't be a problem. On the other hand, if you really do want to remove the HuD, just go into your HuD folder, and move all the files to a folder on your desktop. Then set your HuD folder to "Read Only", so that the files aren't replaced when you start the Legions Engine. You could also open each of the HuD files up with Paint.Net, GIMP, or Photoshop, and set the layer to "Overlay, thus making the images translucent. Hope this helps. ;)

Actually. The Files are replaced when you set the folder to read - only. ^^
 
Here. Blank HUD. Remember, this only removes the artwork. Won't remove the chat text, ammo text, or time and speed text. Remember to remove any mods that have a HUD. Backup your HUD folder before applying.
