Tried... chaingun and grenade are strange, rocket is good, sniper is pretty good but part of "Legions" gets cut off.

That's the way the LR is supposed to be. I tried to give the edges of the text where it ends something like a burnt/rough edge. It's supposed to show where an enemy laser beam struck the LR. I also down-toned the CG and GL so the colors would be a little more metallic. Further changes were made to the CG and RL when I made a secondary skin with the original layers (the ones you tried) and with text reading "Via Victus", in honor of the clan. I hope they like the skins.

Best way to preview your mods are to get in-game, get a model and take pics of the mods while in-game.
