questions regarding ingame setup

I know it doesn't seem appropriate to put stuff like this in a thread as opposed to getting on IRC, however I have 1 day before I move to a new house and will be offline for about a week or two.

1. Is there anyway to bind weapons directly to a key? the reason I ask is because the ordering of weapon composition changes with each loadout and I'd prefer if I was able to individually bind weapons to keys.

2. Is there anyway to adjust mouse sensitivity to a specific value rather than even numbers?

3. Is there any explanation for why the framerate seems to tank randomly? I mean I have very decent hardware and even run the game at 8x6 to see things easier, yet some moments I go from averaging 200 to 90 fps and then back to 200 again.

I believe you can do that via the prefs.cs file in the Legions folder.

Yes, Its at the bottom of the key binding options. Unfortunately, you bind it to the weapon order. For example, lets say you have load out A selected and it has a rocket launcher as weapon 1. Therefore if you switch to another load out that has the chain gun as weapon 1, your prepared key bind will go to the chain gun rather than the rocket launcher.

I believe its 1. chaingun, 2. rocket, 3. gren and 4. sniper. Test it.

I have a similar gripe. When using Gunner, 1 = CG, 2 = Rocket, 3 = Grenades. But when I switch to Bomber, 1 = Rocket, and 2 = Grenades. It's somewhat counterintuitive sometimes.
