unfortunately he's right =/ I want to get one of the Canon Rebels...but if you're looking for a nice point and shoot, mine is a bit outdated now, so find one that has a good amount of settings (including macro, it's my favorite) with a decent number of megapixels (12-14)...it'll cost you about 1/4 of a pro camera such as the rebel, but still give you very nice quality images
