One tiny problem with my Keyboard.

I recently bought a Razer Lycosa Mirror gaming keyboard. I had no issues with it so far except one. When I try to press more than one key while holding down the Q button it doesn't work. For example, I'm trying to throw the flag, my flag throw button in Legions is Q. So I hold down Q, W, Space, A/D and then try to press R, it doesn't work. It also doesn't work when I try to press R while holding down just Q and W.

Any help to solve this problem would be appreciated guys. Also note that I've tested this in Half Life 2 and it's the same thing. Can't reload(R) while holding down Q and any other key.

I was gona say that might be because ur trying to throw the flag and a grenade at the same time, but then I realized while for me R is throw nade, the default for R is overdrive, so my theory is busted...

But from what I just read it is a horrible keyboard...

What review were you reading? Most from what I've read labelled the keyboard as being quality.

Anyhow, I'll keep an eye out for possible solutions (have some running around to do at the moment). The keyboard should have no problem recognizing multiple keys being pressed at once, I'm thinking perhaps a wayward macro. If I find anything, I'll let you know!

Thanks, and yeah it really doesn't have any problems with multi key press except with when you press and hold Q.

Ok I tried it out. It's pretty weird. Some keys like H don't allow a more than a total of 2 keys, others allow up to 4. Some are three. According to the keyboard's description; Keys that have anti-ghosting include the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, W, S, A, D, Q, E, Z, X, C, tab, left alt, left control, and left shift.

The specification text is in white, highlight to see it..Anyways, there are better keyboards such as the Sidewinder x4 which probably will allow the use of all those keys. It was specially designed for antighosting.

I will have a talk with the shop keeper tomorrow and see if I can replace it with a Logitech G110. It's pretty close to what the Lycosa Mirror offers like the back-lit LED keys and WASD anti-ghosting capability. The price is also pretty close with a 3-year warranty here in India.
