Try using this.

extract the folder in the zip to your "live" folder.

If the USB headset is disconnected and the sound is set to the main speakers(audio card) then sound works.

Try that, if not just check the Bugs section for threads that'll help you fix it.

It wont let me extract the file and yes i got 7-zip it says it can not open file

7zip should had extract the files to your live folder

Just a heads up. If you install any new sound cards (this includes some USB headsets) or extract/copy;/whatever your legions config files to another machine more than likely you WILL loose sound. Even going from windows XP to windows 7 , has caused this issue for me. If you cant get the sound fix to work, just copy the launcher to a new folder and let the game re-install .. then copy back over any rets/mods you need.
This is how ive done it in the past (shoulda known there was a fix
