New Map Idea

I don't know who to send this to or where to post this, but I suddenly had a design idea for a map that may prove to be interesting.

Think of a medium-to-large sized map with a light/dark brown texture similar to mountains (think Himalayans) with two bases on top of two mountains themselves. Each base will have a fairly wide open belly with each flag at the center and a few defenses here or there, including ammo boxes. The idea for capping is that instead of the flag on top of a base or in the middle of one, it will instead sit within an open area with a ceiling (though tall) with nothing but a HoF and an LD or two to deal with. There might be a few obstacles too for cappers to OD off of or LO to hide behind, and I assume other things like turrets or whatever will be installed. The rest of the base will have a Tribes feel to it with inventory stations, maybe a vehicle bay if vehicles are ever introduced, etc..

Now the actual idea for the map itself will be different than your usual skiing-friendly hill romps. Since this will be a mountain map there will be spots within the mountains/hills that are actually bottomless pits (i.e. instant death), which graphically will look like clouds; routes will then be selective instead of just a middle, left, and right routes. You'll have to find your way around the map to get to each base. There could be some jump pads added to around specific areas to stop a person from falling into a pit too. Overall, there should be an atmosphere of great height combined with a little fear of where you land; meaning you'll have to pay more attention to your surroundings.

A name for it could be like Blissful Abyss, Buddha's Potholes, or maybe just simply 'Cliffhanger'.

Just a thought if any of the devs want an idea for a new map.

i like it! doesn't sound like blade run at all actually ( i dont think he read all the way ) bottomless pit sounds interesting, i like the challenge this map presents and the more thought that needs to be put into it as well as strategy and teamwork
