Mac OS X Compatibility

I understand the devs worked hard enough on getting this game out to PC gamers, but I wanted to know if there was any hope for a Mac version of the game. I've tried different options with running the game, and they've all failed.

I can't get the Launcher to work with Crossover because it won't install the .NET Framework.
I did try Parallels Desktop, and it did run Legions, but the excessive lag makes the game unplayable because the app emulates Windows while the Mac OS X is still running.
I don't want to risk screwing up my hard drive if I partition it with Bootcamp. Besides, I wanted to boot it using a .iso burned onto a flash drive, but Macs won't let me do that.
Sadly, I don't have the money or the interest in getting a PC, so forgive me for being cheap

If there is absolutely no chance the day will come soon at all, I probably won't be around much longer.

Unfortunately there's no update on Mac support; there is still no ETA

If you have a Mac Pro, one option is to buy a cheap hard drive and set it up as a Windows drive; you could boot to it with Bootcamp without having to worry about partitioning your existing drive.

If you don't have a Mac Pro or that is otherwise not really an option, you could buy an external drive (which should also be fairly cheap) and use it to back up all your critical files. I certainly wouldn't run Windows from an external, but you could use it as a temporary holding zone while you do a clean partitioning of your main hard drive. Then, once your hard drive is partitioned, you could run Windows on the new partition, transfer your old files back to the Mac partition from the external, and you'd be all set!

You won't get to play Legions without some sweat and a bit of cash, but you don't necessarily need to wait until official Mac support is available.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. A good friend of mine lent me his Win7 installer disk, and I bootcamped. I'll probably get rid of the partition and expand my Mac OS X drive once the devs release a Mac version.
