Long Updating time

[Paradox]

hi im the new guy Paradox

iv played a few times now and everytime i load the game it takes 30 mins- an hour just to update..
is this normal or is there a fix?

Could you upload your auth_log file? And no, it's definitely not normal.

Did you extract the zip file that has the launcher.exe?

Do you have the laucher.exe in the desktop ore somting like there.
Maby the laucher is in temporal files

Try turning off any downloads you have going, (this includes torrent programs like utorrent, even if you are only uploading). Try turning off some unnecessary background tasks as well.
