The quality will stay the same despite how dark/bright it is. It's a placebo effect. =P

I believe sky is right for once. The quality was the same you just didn't notice it as much when it was darker. Changing the color will not and should not affect the quality of the image.

And Havoc, taking the legions logo and placing it on icons you can download from dA is not making an icon. Anyone with a low level of knowledge in Gimp or Photoshop can do that.
