Well i was one of those people that got invited for Public Testing

The game is fun, saw people new and old

But its a little laggy and then sometimes its unbelievably laggy, like i will be playing and it will get a little choppy, but then sometimes my screen will freeze and 30 sec. later it will say, Server Connection timed out. I dont know if thats me or what.

There are only 3 maps that get picked in the servers. Moonshine,Nivous, and Frostbyte, and if your lucky Mirage and forgotten will come up

I dont like how they took away the Chainsaw and Thrasher Class, The Thrasher Class was my favorite Raider Class. To me Gunner is ok, but the CG always goes scattered, which makes me CG *lady friend*, I would rather have thrasher, to where it doesnt do that

But other than that the Game is good and i am glad to have it back

Keep in mind that what you are seeing is nothing close to the final build of the game.

The server lag is a known issue. Please be patient, and understand that one of the primary reasons for the preview weekend was to stress-test the servers. The other was to discover any unknown bugs. The problem with the servers will be addressed as will the other bugs in the game. Please be patient, as it is not a release. It is still a beta.

It works pretty amazingly for something that isn't even near the final build.
It downloaded quick and easy and loaded pretty fast to boot.

I had a couple of problems Such as lag and a bug where all the buildings go completly black
But nothing that ruined the game.

There were a couple of minor changes such as zooming in only when you hold down the "e" key (zoom isn't toggleable)
And the flag is now thrown by pressing "q" (it no longer needs you to press q then fire.
The HUD has changed, but you should e able to change it again if you want, (when it's more stable)

Overall it was a pretty fantastic experience, it will be no time until we learn our skills again.

Early Preview Weekend is only for eligible applicants! (those before Nov 25). No worries, the public launch *hopefully* won't be much longer.

Perhaps I have misunderstood it, but is the Chain gun Specialist removed? And if it is,why?

That is part of it, but it was more that CG spec was monstrously OP, especially with the netcode fixes. I'm not sure why there isn't a post detailing them and how significant they are, I'll talk to people about that. Current CG feels more like CG spec then the old cg, simply because of how much better the netcode is.
