Is there a way to change how long the sniper trail lasts, along with its width?

I'd imagine that there might be something for the amount of time it stays up, good example is quake where you can in the console change how long it lasts. As for the width, I seriously doubt it.

The images of the beam have some black space around them. I suppose you could make them a bit wider or skinnier. I don't know how you'd modify beam time... You probably could.

The current sniper trail does screw up my game. It's the main reason I don't snipe, ever. I'd prefer a T1 style graphic.

It's very time consuming, because of the download time, as well as copy pasting the files over, but yes it does work as a last resort You win

Ok, much better.
Copy the file before you change it. put it somewhere else, or rename to a .bak.

If it screws up, delete the edited file, put the old one back in place.

Pro Tip: Make a COPY of the live folder. That way you don't have to redownload it if something goes DEVILISHLY HORRIBLY WRONG.
