Came back from my holidays, this is what I get:
Finland, Espoo.

As compared to what I've had before:

Not epic, though quite often I do enjoy the best ping in-game. Dunno what happened to my ping up there, but here is the Pingtest result.

Help? I dont notice these lag spikes anywhere else but in L:O. I play CoD, DoTA (I even host) etc. without any problems. Before my holidays everything was smooth and nice...

Connection type: cable.

Using WiFi I assume?

You've got a pretty terrible ping variance on every single hop - including the first. You should not be pinging 285 to your own router.

My PC is the only device in my house that's connected to the router by cable. There are 3 laptops, one mac and one more PC connected to it by wifi, but they are rarely on. So yes, cable. My PC has no wi-fi module and it's definitively a cable connection.

In relation to the first hop, I always had to refresh server lists several times (in L:O, CoD, Quake etc) before getting normal pings. Dunno if that's related, but it was never a big issue for me.

Make/model of router?

ZyXEL P-660HW-D1 but the connection is also going through... well looks like a second router but it's from Apple and has no model labels on it or any WLAN/DSL etc. lights on it. Dad has it in for the wifi to work with our Mac and the printer, never caused trouble. (if you're thinking about having me disconnect this piece of appleware then know that this will cause flames to burst out of my mother's mouth and lasers to pewpew from her eyes because she uses the Internet on our Mac a lot. Yes, one more year with my parents ;/)

Update: the lag spikes are gone... well at least for now. You can close the case, if this will repeat I'll get hold of some professionals, the problem seems to be at my side.
