Gaming Laptop vs Gaming PC

You can upgrade laptops parts. Ain't easy, but it's possible.

But PC is still vastly superior.
Yeah but the amount they will charge you to do it legit (via the company you bought it from) will be stupid therefore making it just pointless to do it.

Will also void warranty if you even open it up, so upgrading is a nono until warranty is out for most people (By that time, the laptop is usually outdated anyway)

Stubbsy, Do not go for a laptop, I have one and I use it for gaming ( but not a gaming laptop) . I can get about 40fps 1280 x 720 on legions, 20 fps on lowest settings in T:A and 20fps highest res in TF2. ( My GPU has only got 256MB Graphics memory :S) And It always heats up on the left which is a disappointment.

I have a laptop and I get around 130 fps. Your laptop must be pretty bad, no offense.

Yar, I used a gaming laptop for a couple of years and really missed the flexibility and upgrade options of a desktop tower. My best advice, unless there is a really specific reason to want a laptop (portability, education, etc) go for a desktop if you want to use it mainly for gaming.

Not sure if you're still in the US or not, but if you are, make sure to take advantage of their low cost PC components while you're here.
