Game Mode: Epic scale TDM

Okay, so the basic idea of this game is team deathmatch but with a greater need for strategy, or the consequences would be dire.
Rules: This would have to be on big maps with big teams. I'm thinking a 32 player total game or larger.
Each player gets 3 lives, last team with people standing wins. You could just have a set kill limit, but this way, you have to have a more dynamic strategy as your resources dwindle, having to adjust tactics throughout the game as you get fewer people throughout the game.
Apart from those two things, its team deathmatch.
One idea that will be controversial, so I'm having a vote on this. Will the dead players be able to communicate positions of enemies to their teammates through all of this or no?

and then I forgot to post the poll.

How is this an inappropriate front page post? I would like an explanation, not just the accusation.

I like the idea of the limited respawn number.
This would help balance TDM's where one side has one player who isn't, how shall we say, as good at defending himself.
Too many games have I seen where the other team (or sometimes my team) simply wins the game by for the most part ignoring the majority of the enemy team (except to prevent them killing us), and just simply targets one specific player, to get quick kills.

This way, it's more a matter of taking down the best players first, to prevent them taking out your whole team.

Either that or we could go with Tribes: Vengeance's "Arena" mode, which is a similar concept except it uses rounds. (I say tribes vengeance, but in reality it has been around a lot longer than that)
Each player gets one life per round and one life only. Rather than the team earning points for every kill, the team points are earnt by winning a round, which is done by either eliminating the whole enemy team, or having more players left when the round timer ends. Each player can still rack up individual points for each kill, but it doesn't go towards your team's victory. Victory is determined when the first team wins the predetermined number of rounds.

I think either way could work, and yes, the Arena mode has been around for a very long time. Counterstrike is essentially nothing but arena mode. I'm thinking, though, that an arena mode style of game could be used on a smaller map, and a three time respawn limit could happen in a bigger game. No really good reason, I just think that idea is cool, so I'm going to stick by it as much as possible. I hadn't thought of the fact that this way one team couldn't just target a few players over and over again to rack up points, I'm glad that you pointed this out.
