I think there needs to be a friend's list. So we can keep in contact with the people we've played with and continue to play with them in the future.

In my opinion, the friends list would be more useful when and if the player hosted servers get released other than that i can't see how it would be anymore useful than just a public chat box at the server select menu.
I do support the idea, just I think other things would be better first.
