FPS Drop/Unstability

Having a little problem with me Legions here. Whenever I open up the game, the first few minutes, it runs fine at about 190-230 FPS. After a few mins, I see constant choppy gameplay along with FPS drop at about 20-30. It runs as if I were on a really low graphic card i.e. more lag when in smoke/clusters/mortars/100 Rockets/OD etc. Never happened before, just started happening a few days back. Something wrong with my Card? Game? Checked my Task Manager while in-game (minimized):

First thing I'd take a look at is your power management. Change it to performance (if it's not already set to that) while you game, perhaps the laptop is going into some sort of power saving mode during gameplay. Other then that, post your specs and I'll begin thinking of scenarios.

Open that?

Hmm I haven't really seen what mode it is in, but I think it's been in 'Balanced' the whole time.
Don't think specs could cause much problem but:
System Model: Aspire 5750G
BIOS: InsydeH2O Version V1.05
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 5996MB RAM
Page File: 2125MB used, 9863MB available
DirectX Version: 11

[Display]
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit
DirectX version: 11.0
GPU processor: GeForce GT 540M
Driver version: 266.19
DirectX support: 11
CUDA Cores: 96
Core clock: 672 MHz
Shader clock: 1344 MHz
Memory clock: 800 MHz (1600 MHz data rate)
Memory interface: 128-bit
Total available graphics memory: 4095 MB
Dedicated video memory: 2048 MB DDR3
System video memory: 0 MB
Shared system memory: 2047 MB
Video BIOS version: 70.08.3C.00.19
IRQ: 16
Bus: PCI Express x16 Gen2

All I can say is, the game starts out fresh and nice without any problems, but slowly, the performance just goes bad.
