FireFall VS Tribes2

I was searching for Tribes2 related stuff, FireFall VS Tribes2, came up in the search.
The game will be massive, largest of its kind ever made.
This game looks vary good and its being designed by the guy who designed tribes and
tribes2. The game has deployables, jetpacks, vehicles, battleframs, witch let you customize your player layout like a race car or maybe kinda like a mech, unlike the old class types in tribes. The game looks a little bit too cartoonish for my taste, but if its like tribes I will play it..:)

It's nothing like Tribes, honestly. I played throughout the closed beta a bit. Simply put, no skiing = not Tribes. There's no CTF mode that I'm aware of, though it has been talked about. It's more of a combination between Global Agenda and TF2.

Firefall isn't a game for casuals keep in mind if you plan to try it out.
Game is also too fast to be compared to t1 or t2.

Physics in FireFall are unimpressive. It feels more like a MMORPG than a proper FPS. FireFall looks great but that's about it. The content isn't much and the PvP gets boring pretty fast.

I wished it was more like Global Agenda in terms of class depth and inter-player dependency, but then all the BF players/fans wanted classes as not more than side jobs. So when they steered the game in that direction, that's when I stopped playing it.

firefall is no way near finished, and they're still revamping basic concepts to give the game more depth.
at the moment, it seems that the game is still in a beta for just the core game, and actual content is still not there yet.
i've been playing the beta for more than a year and the game has come a considerable way since then, but still not anywhere near finished yet, and does not have the "stickyness" of a full game yet. PVP will be getting reworked soon, and the items system is just about to undergo a huge rehaul again (like for the 3rd or 4th time)

at the moment, it's not a fantastic game, but still somewhat fun every now and then, depending on what direction it goes, i may end up playing it alot.
it's nothing like tribes.

It's alot faster outside of a linear prospective. i.e the combat, but don't be all butthurt about it. Try the game and decide for yourself.
