Poponfu Lead Developer Nov 1, 2012 #3 If you mean how far you can see on a map , no this is a map/server setting. Code: $Pref::Player::DefaultFov = 130; in the console (~) is how you set your FoV higher than the options allow. Zoom in and out after if you want it to take effect in game.

Yes, you can reduce your view distance this way, but the server limits it to a maximum which is the default value in the prefs file.
