Curious little fishy

Okay so here's the thing, these guy's at housing put this thing in our apartment that's supposed to measure our "lighting" and how much we use and everything. With the way *chocolate cookies* is now I doubt it's to measure lighting, hell for all I know they could be listening on to everything we're saying...I'm a curious little fish and I decided to open it up. below you will find a couple pictures I took of it (I'm not a photographer so don't judge the way I took them -.-) I have my suspicions so if anyone would like to go ahead and clear them up for me I'd be really glad....I took more but the files were too large....

looks almost like a wireless doorbell. but I wouldn't be too worried about it. and if you are, just don't do anything illegal around or in font of it.
