Chat glitches when connecting to new map

When i wish to type right after a match has concluded, sometimes i get cut off early (cut off at the -15:00s mark) while still in mid-typing. when the next match has connected, i can access the chat easily enough, but then other then that, i cant type at all in the chatbox.

also- sometimes my chatbox freezes while mid-game. this is recent, but very uncommon.

any ideas why?

I get that alot, so I try not to type after the match has finished.
I think it goes the same if you hold down the fire button for a CG, and it will auto-fire on the next round.

it does the same thing for quick-chat, but at least you can do any quickchat to clear it.
