Sure, it's possible. Get a friend who stands on the flag stand and keeps passing the flag to you. You get 10 points for the return each time. 200 of those and boom, 2K points. Whether or not someone has legitimately gotten 2K points, that I do not know. I imagine some have gotten close (1.8k or so).

You can get that just by dying ten times...

The highest I've ever seen was like 1.6k. And that was really unusual. I doubt anyone ever has...

It's easy to get even 20,000 points just by doing what Piggeh has said.
Currently it's still hard for the majority of players to get over the 1000point hump..

I'm sure hominggun reached 1600 or more by playing chase. Max I have ever got is around 1250.

The frapsing is an excellent use of time compared to a dude just tosing the flag at you and you returning it. JUST SAYIN
