If it's a problem on shazbot.eu servers and you want a permanent solution, just go onto IRC and report the name of the problem user in #legions (don't PM me, please). Make sure you report it on the same day, otherwise the logs might not be around. That way I can block the entire IP range...

You've spent more time and effort on this post than any developer has time to dedicate towards a tutorial mode. The scripts to the game are available for you to use and modify - feel free to attempt a tutorial mode yourself.

We can't distribute files we don't own through the patcher. I personally wouldn't want to direct users to download 3rd party maps after the bullshit we've had to deal with because people ran untrusted code.

Given your location the high ping is expected, but there's no packet loss. Only problem is the rather large ping variance you seem to have, although that only happens later on and I'm guessing it caused an issue for all hops (including the first). Check to see if anything else on your network...

I see absolutely no problems with this pingplotter report. Were you having any problems when you were running this pingplotter?

It was already dropped from the shazbot.eu/Hotswap TX rotations about a week ago, and I've just copied the new rotation to Element Town server.

Legions is already portable enough. You'll need .NET framework to update the game with the launcher, and DirectX to actually run the game.

I've added the Download prefix to the mods and custom maps forum. If the thread creator has a downloadable package in their first post then I'd recommend that they use this tag to help people find threads with downloads in them.

I'd love to see authentication being done as some sort of mod. If someone could do a decent implementation I could possibly add it into the official servers, although we wouldn't be able to distribute it through the launcher.
