The glow behind the links makes everything look blurry and doesn't really add anything to the aesthetic - I just end up squinting in order to read the link.

We had approached IA in May (after IA Arcade had been down for a while) and finalized everything around late October-ish. We demo'd a working version of it to Crash just a few days before IA announced its closure.

You might try and test which messages show up generally when there's an OD kill. If you do a standard OD kill and it's the same ordering in the message, it sounds like it would be normal. If it's different, there might have been a different order of events.

I don't know for certain, but one possible scenario is he was OD chasing you, and hit you with a rocket (via splash or direct hit) when he was right next to you, which might have damaged you, killed him, which meant he exploded in OD doing extra damage to you that killed you.

Being on the west coast myself, I'd love to see a west server so I could have some good ping now and then. Unfortunately, we are not currently distributing the resources necessary to run a dedicated server. We also don't see this current situation as optimal or scalable, and are working...

Yea, like bounty, I use grenades to position the enemy. It usually only hits them if they're out of energy or they aren't looking.

It's already been brought up in this thread a couple times, but it's important to keep things in perspective. First and foremost, we wouldn't have picked up this project if it weren't for you guys. After months of broken promises from IA and little or no progress, the community still stuck...

We chose 16-player servers because players leave and drop regularly, so this leaves a bit of wiggle room for the games. We agree that 8v8 Niv is a little crowded. Expect most of our future CTF development to revolve around 7v7-10v10 sized games.

If you have modifications where you've selected "Read-Only" for certain files or folders, make sure you have removed them before submitting a bug. If a file/folder is marked as Read-Only, the patcher will skip updating on that file/folder. For instance, if you marked your /live/client folder...

The pads are intended for chasers, not cappers. I had more than a few people ask me how many routes I had using the jump pads - 0. I've used them for chasing several times though, but I won't necessarily seek them out if it's not convenient.

We will have team channels. Right now we're focusing on other things, but they will come back.
