    PAX East

That would be cool. Red 5 is doing a big thing with firefall, I know.

    Suggestions for types of turrets

I like the big post you did with all the numbers, Volt. It looks like a good idea.

    Suggestions for types of turrets

Deployables would drain from the output only if used in a defensive location, essentially trading in a non-deployable turret that's been destroyed for a deployable turret. That way, the base wouldn't be completely covered in turrets. Deployables placed in midfield locations would have their own...

    Suggestions for types of turrets

I'm proposing a generator just so that there's a cap on how many turrets can be placed on a base. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be deployable turrets, but I'm arguing that they should be used along cap routes and offensive positions. Defensive turrets should have a weakness, and in the...

    Healing gun?

yeah, an Area of Effect on the regen core would be stupidly OP

    Suggestions for types of turrets

Whitehawk, you should have known that it would be only a matter of time before this would come up. The generator could be a fast-track method to taking down the base-asset type turrets. The generator would have, say, 2.5x the health of a single turret, but when there are four or five turrets, it...

    Suggestions for types of turrets

Well, I don't know how to answer all of those, but I figure that, for destroyed turrets, they'd have to be rebuilt by a player with either a weapon or core for engineering. Probably, a generator system should be used for base asset turrets, and the rebuilding conditions could be such that the...

    Healing gun?

I like Piggeh's idea (Healing gun á la TF2) I think that could add to skilled skiing and tandem cap routes.

    Cores

I don't see how it would fail to encourage skilled skiing. The more skilled the skier, the more energy they could store into the system to be used later.

Instead of an air brake, and I know I've mentioned this before, but airbrakes came up again. How about a kinetic energy storage core? If you need to slow down for whatever reason (Such as you won't be able to make a route, and you're going to crater on a wall.) Then you activate this core, which...

    On Throughout The Night

When I saw the first screenshot, all I could think was "That base is going to be hell to defend." Then I saw the second picture, and I thought "Much better." This is looking awesome, I like the light posts a lot, they are awesome. Keep up the awesome work!

Idea's that could happen in the future for Legions overdrive.

I've noticed that with the skybolt, other people using it can sometimes sound like they're right next to you.

    Public Opinion

That screenshot of OTtN was incredible. I'd love a good dark map, as it seems like everybody else does, too. Contingency, take your sweet time, because if you make another map as good as Reactor, hopefully even fewer PUGs will be on Zenith and Frosty.

    Reactor

This is definitely an awesome map. The dynamic is good, and the base aesthetic is awesome! I also like that, for the first time since the return of Legions, the ammo boxes are situated somewhere convenient. Elegiac, Gorge, Stygian and Fallout all have ammo boxes in somewhat awkward places. I am...

    My Youtube

Weapons guides can be done in the forums, and linked to from the launcher. I've written a fairly comprehensive guide to the LR, http://forums.legionsoverdrive.com/threads/laser-rifle-the-beginners-guide.2068/ Other people can write guides to other weapons, and let the new players know how to do...

    Just a few more people?

Badlands (one of the community maps) would be great for an intro to skiing. Also, I think that somebody with power on the forums should find all the tutorials people have written up (weapons guides, of which I have written one, etc.) and group them together in some way, and then a link can be...

    Cores

Volt was just giving example numbers for potential coding purposes. The changes the average player would notice is how sluggish/agile you get, so you wouldn't be doing a lot of math, you'd just figure out what happens intuitively.

    Public Test Update

I don't like the change to the skybolt. I thought it was a good weapon before this change. You could make it boost a player less, but I thrived off of the skybolt jumps for chase sniping, capping, etc. I do not believe that this change makes anything better. If it does, please enlighten me.

    Public Test Update

Oh no, you've taken skybolt jumping away! This is disastrous to my capping/chasing.
