They've the convenience of fitting a long range and high damage role (obv.), though, so anyone with awareness and decent aim is going to be able to quell a flank of one to two people, especially if they're in a tower on a map like Sleepwalker where you can't obscure yourself behind...

It's good that people can make the map work, and I'm all for people using the sniper, but not a lot of people like it and I can postulate that even less would like being forced to use it to win a map. While I'm not defending people who refuse to counter the other team's strategy and complain...

I have. The map is really flat and expansive, so of course a sniper is going to wreck everything on it. The problem, in this instance, is the map and not the weapon.

The sniper rifle is fine in TDM. They removed the LR2 from Public Test.

Indeed. I enjoy the hills though, it encourages people to use the terrain while fighting (and I don't mean running away) to gain advantages. It has direction, where Sleepwalker really doesn't. The elevation of the hills and even the bases is about perfect, imo. It gives snipers a good perch to...

When I heard you were playing like a douche with the sniper on that firing range of a map I expected you to at least top the kills by a significant margin. Up by 4, for shame. and 17 deaths, FOR MORE SHAME.

Slyboots is busy in med school last we heard. He hasn't been around since we stopped playing T:WFC. :( I think we miss his wife coming on vent to talk to us more than him, though.
