Don't get so worked up, I have listened to bands like the Beatles, and Rolling-Stones. The word 'classic' just came in to it, I just thought of 'rock' itself as classic, haven't segregated it any further.

also, rock in contemporary times is a pretty *danced* genre. i mean incubus and the occasional foo fighters (and ofc some oldies like floyd and rhcp) are all fine but eventually you'll get tired of it. there's a tendency now towards electronic music and i think it's a step in the right direction because there is no comparison between acoustic and digital instruments
