It does seem like a good idea for the west players, but i see where the devs are coming from.
Crappy situation.

If this server goes up, I'll jizz every second I'm in those servers.
I ping 160.. Thats as close to a dream come true for me.

As Armageddon said before, new servers being put up now is a tough situation, trying to get player hosting working aswell.

I like this idea. I typically get ~65 ms to SOCAL (and <40 to San Francisco), but the chicago servers all ping at 97+. That's not horrible, I s'pose... but it'd be nice to occasionally get the home field advantage for a change.

In San Francisco, I have 180-200 ping. Same goes for L.A. But yeah, West Coast servers would be awesome.
