At 6:00 PM, on a foggy night on 2005, in Kuwait, I made a new friend. He was amazing. He was literally everywhere with me. My parents let him stay with us. I played with him a lot and always imagined how it would feel if I lost him. He was everything for me.
School was never so exciting. Even though he never came with me to school, I'd think of him, and I'd be excited to get back home to play with him.
He'd been with me wherever I went. We traveled to different places, and I kept holding him in my hands. I'd never let him go, never, for anything.
2 years after our initial friendship, he had a slight fever. That's where it started. I tried to cure him, but it didn't help. I asked my dad if he could make him feel alright. After two days, he was back. He was back and more powerful than before. I was happy.
Over the years, the fever returned, and kept increasing.
3 years later, it became worse, his head was very hot. I started to worry. I tried my best to cure him but it wouldn't help. But I could still play some games with him. He was happy I was by his side. I was too.
Today, early morning, I woke up. I put him on. My brother came next to me, and watched him as the light faded. My heart skipped a beat, my stomach instantly felt sick... I did everything I could, but it was too late...my PlayStation 2 was dead.
I’ll never forget you buddy.
