Help!!! DOESN'T WORK!

I pressed the launcher (no .exe) and it updated and after a few minutes it said cant find a file. Then i tried to extract the legions folder that i downloaded and a new legions overdrive folder came out and i press the launcher in it.. It finished loading but it said theres a problem and i dont know how to fix it. I spent 8 hours on trying to find out how to fix this! I even closed the firewall but nothings happening! I want to start all over again but i need instructions! i use winrar thanks..

If none of them work, make sure you type down exactly what error you are getting, or post a screenshot of it, and we might be able to help you.

Can i have instructions on how to install it to my desktop and make it Work? Everytime i open and update/load the launcher it said legions.exe has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem....

extract/unzip it to your "my documents" folder.

right click on the exe in the (live?) folder and "create shortcut" you can move that to the desktop - if you move the exe to the desktop (which is what i think you are doing) then it will stop working as it needs to be kept where it is extracted to.

i would not extract ANYTHING to your desktop. EVER.

Re-downloaded the legionslauncher. Extracted it to the my documents folder. Created shortcut. Moved it to my desktop. Opened it and opened launcher (no .exe). Logged in. Updated. Doesn't work...
 
Urgh... If you don't wish to help yourself with the threads that A2 posted, I don't really see why we should bother.
Most of the known issues with game not working are solved in those.

I read A2's thread and still I didn't find my problem there.


P.S - ...I use Windows 7
 
Screenshots of every thing(error/prompt) you get, please. It'll just make it easier. And also, preferably upload your console.log?
You'll find it in the 'Live' folder. Either convert the file into .txt or use www.pastebin.com

Edit: Post your DxDiag info here as well. For doing so, Open Start>Run>"dxdiag">save the info and attach it to your post. Are you able to get into the menu screen? Or is it stuck at Updating?

I can get to the screen after i pressed PLAY. But the screen turns to grey like this.

1. Run a compatibility check on it.
2. Listen to people like A2 and Rockey. They know what they're doing.
3. REDOWNLOAD LEEJUNZ! It usually works.
