Nerf it or change its mechanics completely. It's funny to insta-gimp a lot of people with the mortar, but it lost it's novelty once everybody started using it.

...unless you're LD with plasma. That weapon screws up some routes with its knockback, especially for those who frontroute spam in Fallout. But if you're HD or HoF, splashing is always better than chaining.

I like the mortar because I can do some really creative ways to block several incoming cappers from getting my flag; i.e. letting it stick itself on the central pillar on Frostbyte Beta right after I blocked one guy and before the next guy comes in. It doesn't always work, but I can bring down...

This ^^ I'll throw in FatElvis. Don't really remember most of the other HoFs I've met, but I think most of them were smurfs. There was one guy that had "HoF" or something in their name, can't remember who he is, just that his name's an alliteration.

Damn. Carnage was actually epic for 1 hour? ;) On another note, it was... nice. But I hated the plot holes.
