I found a way to mod the nrm file without pwning all the bump.
I know it looks dumb but my texture wasn't designed for this cause all the dirt is now bump mapped.
this opens a whole new world of fappyawesomeness.

Don't mean to sound silly, but is there an option to use the normal weapon skins from InstantAction?

You do sound silly. Just replace the modded files with your backup copies of the original files (no need to redownload the originals through the patcher again and again).
