MSI Afterburner: Neat built in recording tool

The developers at MSI released a new beta update for the MSI afterburner, which includes a built in recording tool and a tool for capturing screenshots. I have to say it works surprisingly well as far as framerates and file size goes. Though here's a youtube video to show you!.

The file size was about 400mb in total using MJPEG compression, compressed down to about 45mb after I encoded it in MeGUI. So i'd say it's definitely worth your while to try if you plan on making videos for legions or any other game lacking demo tools.

the graphics seem a little wierd. it only has color and the 3d model with no textures. is this because of the recorder or are you running legions lite?

Yeah, I used legions lite and changed settings in ati tray tools to make it look like that.

i tried opening it and it says
"Failed to initialize display drive wrapper"

Seems like an issue with your graphics card drivers. It's prone to cause that issue when driver dll files aren't functioning properly.

Too bad I have an Nvidia.

It doesn't really make a difference since it supports both Nvidia and AMD/ATI graphics cards.
